I stayed for a night in a lovely twin room with a private external bathroom while exploring the nearby Mallaig Heritage Centre. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail in the room's decor and the cleanliness—it really felt inviting. The shower was powerful, and the generous space in the separate bathroom was a nice touch. Plus, the delicious baked goods from the bakery just across the road made for a perfect breakfast treat!

The bedding in my room was luxurious and provided a restful night’s sleep after a long day. The breakfast was spot on, especially the porridge, which kicked off my morning perfectly.
The shower room was cramped, with an electric shower that had barely any pressure, making it a bit of a struggle. The sink’s position behind the door was less than ideal, especially for someone larger. My room also lacked an en-suite. instead, it had a private bathroom just a few yards away, which might not suit everyone, though it had a corner bath and walk-in shower.

The modern room offered a stunning view of the port and was impeccably clean, making it a pleasant retreat. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep, while the friendly host went above and beyond by providing excellent recommendations for local dining. A visit to the nearby bakery revealed delightful traditional cakes that were hard to resist. finding the onsite parking was a bit tricky initially, and there were no immediate dining options nearby, which required some planning.
